I have recently got an issue, where any storage device i connect to my computer (External hard drive, SD, micro SD) always comes up with the message ("You need permission to perform this action") when trying to Edit, Delete or copy to my external drives.
This isn't happening to me on my internal hardrive, only external.
I've tried:
-changing permissions for my drives in the security tab.
-Formatting my drives.
-Doing "chkdsk V: /R" in the Command Prompt as administrator but
comes back with the error ("Access Denied as you do not have sufficient
privileges.") & ("You
have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode.")
-Changed disk letter.
As none of theses methods work, i really need to sort out this bug, thx
