Hello everyone,

I am intending to build a Gaming PC from an Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 motherboard, and I was wondering if all the following components would work together, and what RAM you could recommend I use with it? (8GB max and not too expensive) Also a recommended PSU would be helpful, I'm currently using a G7 power extreme 580W.

I wanted to use AMD Radeon HD 7950 GPU and an AMD FX 4130 4-core CPU, hopefully they'll work with the motherboard?

I was also wondering what to watch out for when buying components for my motherboard, and how I can tell if a certain component wouldn't work with it.

I've got a basic PC built now but I wanted to play higher demand games such as Assassin's Creed Unity and other next generation ones, and I don't want to splash out on a console that's likely to break in a couple of years.

Currently, my PC is:
AMD FX 4130 4-core CPU
ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 Motherboard
AMD Radeon R7 200 Series GPU
4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 669MHz RAM

So really the only thing I'm not looking to upgrade is the CPU because the one I have is fairly decent

If anyone could help me that would be great, and if anything is unclear just ask :) Thank you peeps.
