Hello

Which one of these PSU's are best:

I am building a i7 4790k PC with 16 gig ram, 2 ssd's, 2 hdd's, a GTX660(later will upgrade to a 970 or 960) will add a sound card maybe.

The PSU's are:

Sycthe Gouriki 2 unplugged 600 watt bronze plus with a 12v+40A and 12v+25A rails

Or

Enermax Revolution XT 530 watt gold plus with a 12v+43A rail.

These are two that I found at the stores where I live.

Which one would be best?

Solution
Give Sycthe a chance - if their PSUs are anything like their coolers then you have nothing to worry about. The most recent Sycthe PSUs reviewed were top quality.

The Seasonics are out of my price range and yes the Sycthe is made in Japan.

There is not much good choices here, and no time to order from States.

Just curious, which Seasonics are good?

Here's a review of the 530 XTs big bruthas

Enermax makes some very decent PSUs..... OTOH, like most other manufacturers, others are not so hot. I'm not impressed. If anything the smaller models don't quite live up to the prowess of their larger siblings. Scythe I haven't seen anything on other than thier coolers, so wouldn't want to comment.

I live in the Far East the land of the Pokemon but I am American.

Budget is 70-90 dollars but the lower the better.

I had a Sycthe from 4 1/2 years ago that just died. Under heavy usage, 10 hours a day for about 80% of the time. Different model.

I would go with Sycthe again if the psu is good.

No it isn't. The OEM is Sirtec and they're based in Taiwan. The factory is in China.

The Sycthe Gouriki 2 is based on an existing Sirtec model.

Don't assume that everything Scythe sells is designed or made in Japan.
