What are the pros and cons of downloading windows 8 64 bit on my mac vs buying a pc? I use Blackboard for work, but BBoard doesn't run well on my Mac. I've thought about downloading Windows 8 64 bit on my Mac, which is what my son suggests that I do, but I've also considered buying a PC. If I buy a PC, it would be used exclusively for work. I'm looking for the cheapest, but also the most effective thing to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The only reason to use windows on inferior and expensive apple hardware is that you already own the apple hardware .
