[SOLVED] Can I dual boot my PC to OSX? (Compatibility)

Hi! I only want to use OSX for Final Cut and Garage Band, but I want to ask the 'experts' before I try anything! Will my PC be able to install and run OSX on a dual boot, or can I install it on another hard drive?

Specs:
Intel Core i7-4790K
ASRock Z97X Fatality Killer
24GB DDR3 RAM
EVGA GTX 780
2TB WD Green (2; 1TB Partitions) (C: ) and (F: )
500GB WD Black (E: )
2TB Seagate (G: )

I'm not aware of what the hardware compatibility for OSX is, but I do know that in order to build a hackintosh like you're wanting, there's an extra piece of hardware you need, and it's sole purpose is to tell OSX that it is installed on a real Apple product.

Straight from the hard drive, it is possible. But if you're not going to use it often, just run it in a Virtual Machine.

Virtual Machine, VM for short.

Basically, you run a program that launches an OS in a window. You don't have to partition space on the HDD as you would with a dual boot.
