Specs:
Processor: i7-4790k (used to be i5-4670k)
Motherboard: Asus Maximus Gene VI
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16gb (8gb x 2)
PSU: Corsair AX 760
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i
GPU: Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 SLI
HDD: Western Digital Red 3TB
SSD: Samsung 840 - 500GB
Case: Corsair 350D

I tried many ways to fix the problem but it didn't help.
List of things I did:
-Update BIOS
-Clear CMOS (Mobo Option)
-Clear CMOS (Battery)
-Resetting BIOS (Pin)
-Use 1 RAM
-Going far to swap for a new i7 to find out that i still have the same problem.

When I switch back my old processor (i5-4690k), my computer works like a champ. When I try installing my i7-4790k, it doesn't work.
The computer will turn on but nothing displays on my screen.

So your saying i just got 2 defective CPUs in a row? I had just recently replaced the other i7 to the store and i told them it was defective. I'm not so sure its defective now since its still happening.

I failed to notice that you already swapped the new CPU. Did you test with on-board graphics by removing the SLI GPUs? If the system doesn't work with a basic configuration, then the motherboard could be the issue. That would imply there's something wrong with it that only affects an i7. Ultimately you may have to let a shop confirm that the CPU or the motherboard is defective.

I just tried using a single GPU just now. It still didnt work. I really dont want to bring my computer to a shop to have it fixed but i will do it as a last resort.

Sorry for the late reply but i found the solution to my problem. The problem was that i updated bios using the ez flash. I actually had to go on windows to run an application to update my bios from there. It now works perfectly fine now. Thanks for the help!
