I've been doing some research, and I came upon this. I heard that it had self doing Overclocking configure which I find that I might need as this is my first rig. Asus Z97 PRO GAMER ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Wait so does that mean that the motherboard has wifi? B/c I found a kind of mother board like that that has wifi after it. However, it's also $30 more expensive.

You can use ethernet or wifi to connect to the internet. Ethernet is on every board. Wifi is only on a few. But wifi is on nearly every laptop.

If you don't want to connect to the internet or you're happy with ethernet cable (like me) then you don't need wifi. I'm close to the router. My son isn't. So he uses wifi. And my missus on her laptop.
