Whenever I add files from my computer to HDD and plugged it on my laptop, the files that I added wasn't there but when I plugged back to computer it was there.

For example:
I have files A B C that's storage on my HDD and added file D to my HDD from computer,
unplugged, then plug it to laptop, A B C still there but D isn't,
plugged it back to computer, file D is still there.

This case only occurred when adding files from computer to HDD and wanted to open it on laptop, when I add files from laptop to HDD and wanted to open in on computer it just fine.

FYI, recently I just bought a new computer when this things happen. My old computer (intel pentium 4) behave just fine with the HDD.

My new computer is i7, gtx970 4gb, ram 8gb, HDD 1 TB, Win7 HP
while my laptop is Core Duo, amd hd 4500 2gb, ram 4gb, 250gb, Win7 HP

Is it because my laptop system were old so the HDD saving system behave differently?

Hey there, nonocoon!

I'd suggest you to try to un-hide any hidden folders from the computer that seems to be unable to see them.
Take a look at this tutorial with some step-by-steps on how to make all the files from the external visible: http://www.wikihow.com/Unhide-Folders-in-Windows-7
If that doesn't help run Command Prompt as administrator and type the command: chkdsk x: /r (Where x is the drive letter assigned to your external HDD)

Keep me posted with the results. Hope this helps you! :)
