I just recently built a new computer, and I would think it would be extremely fast but it seems as if its not. Im running a Gigabyte b85m-gaming 3, Pentium G3258, 2x4 Gb Ripjaw memory, and I transferred my HDD from my previous Emachines W series computer I had. And im running a Sentey SS1-2421 Plus Case. Please help!!!!
Why is my newly built computer running slow(er) than it should be?

The hard drive. It's an old Sata 3GB/s (SATA II) hard drive, which means slow bootup time and slow loading of everything. Upgrade to a Sata 6GB/s (SATA III) hard drive or an SSD for much faster operation.
