With 4 month old PC, I've finally decided to overclock it. Starting with the CPU, I've followed linustechtips video guide titled: "Ultimate X99 Overclocking Guide - Intel 5820K Haswell-E"

I've started with core ratio of 45 and Vcore of 1.3v, as suggested in the video, however my system crashes multiple times.
With all night testing I've managed to get 4.3Ghz with Vcore 1.25v and XMP enabled with the rest kept on default, stress tested multiple times with aida64 with temps being 60C and below, which i believe are pretty good results.
However, my aim is for 4.5Ghz at least and increasing Vcore didn't help much. 1.4v with 45 core ratio and my system still crashes.
I think i have a pretty bad chip :(

Any help/suggestion will be appreciated.
BTW, I am overclocking for the first time. << Real noob here!

It looks like you don't have the best chip for overclocking, but a 5820k at 4.3GHz is a real beast, there shouldn't be any need to push it further, specially if it's not stable. I would keep it a 4.3GHz with 1.25v to keep it running fast and cool.

Well, that is disappointing :(

I've tried at least to bump it to 4.4 Ghz with Vcore 1.31xx but after 20 mins of stress testing my system crashed!

Do you have anything in mind that would help ?
