Hey,

So in a few weeks i am upgrading my FX 8120 to an FX 8350. I play a lot of games and I have heard lots about this chip getting hot and being power hungry, so i came here to ask about air coolers.

I currently have one of these aftermarket coolers: http://www.amazon.co.uk/ARCTIC-Freezer-Pro-Rev-Multicompatible/dp/B002G392ZI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top/278-8810540-0438457

It seems to be good at the moment with no problems on my fx 8120, but i just wanted some opinion on whether I should get something slightly better like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-120mm/dp/B0068OI7T8
(I have seen people recommend this to others with an 8350)

I don't really have that much to spend on more expensive coolers, so any advice or opinions would be appreciated.

Also my PC Specs at the moment:
Cooler Master 650w GX Bronze PSU
AMD FX-8120 (3.10 GHz)
MOBO: ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr
16GB DDR3 Patriot RAM
1TB Hard drive
64gb SSD
case: CiT Vantage Midi Mesh Gaming Case

Thanks! :)

Unless you're going to OC it, or don't have good case airflow, the stock cooler should be fine. However, if you want a little extra piece of mind, something like the Hyper 212 EVO or other $20-30 USD air cooler will be more than enough for you.

Thanks for the links, they look great. I will probably stick with a fan cooler at the moment but I will keep these in mind if I decide to get a better cooler later on.
