Better cpu for gaming: fx6100 vs. 6300

Hi if someone could break it down for me on what is better overall for gaming between the fx 6100 and 6300 I would appreciate it. I currently have a 6100 and want to know if upgrading to a 6300 would be worth it?

My system consists:
Gigabyte 990fx-ud3
8gb Kingston ram
Seasonic 650w psu
Asus gtx760
Fx6100 cpu

The only difference between the FX6100 and the FX6300 is about 200mhz of speed. While that will make a small amount of difference in single threaded benchmarks, because you can overclock either of them you can easily make up that minor deficit by OC'ing the 6100 up 200mhz.

If you were talking about going to an 8core (8300 series) you'd get more of a benefit in upgrading, but as it stands I would say spend $40 and get a good cooler and turn up the speed.

nope it wont worth upgrading, get 8xxx series for noticeable improvement
