I'm doing a build with a Thermaltake VL80001W2Z ATX Mid Tower Case that has usb ports on the front panel. It has 2 usb ports, so i'm wondering if they will both be plugged into the same header on my mobo or if they'll each need to be plugged into separate headers. I want to add an inernal card reader which plugs into a usb header and i only have 2 usb headers on my mobo. Just trying to figure out if i need to buy a converter so i can plug one of the usb 2.0s into the usb 3.0 header i have available.

Actually yes, this is my first build. Thanks for the help, I was hoping that was the case!

There is no need to hope.

The manual should have it labeled like USB4/5 on the same header, meaning there are two ports here. Plus if you notice the pins, there are two identical labeled row of pin, that's another clue, plus if you look at a USB cables, it got 4 pins, so you got a header with 8 pins, do the math. The other 2 pins are KEY pins and often labeled NC=Non Connected, that's the 3rd clue.
