It has "garbage" components if you were using an unlocked processor. It's a perfectly acceptable budget board that does everything "well enough". If he didn't spend the extra for an unlocked CPU, I doubt he's going to care about the minor performance hit in 3d graphics. It remains a very good value motherboard.

If you really have an issue with the minor hit to performance, you can stay under budget with these boards instead.
