I need urgent help. I am building a pc for a friend and as the title says it won't start up. I have followed the troubleshooting guide step by step. Almost taken the entire build apart and started again and still nothing. The power light on the motherboard turns on when I connect the power and so does the light on the graphics card so I'm sure it's not the psu. I have tried wiith a different psu and still nothing. I've tried each one of the 8gb sticks still nothing. I've tried each graphics card alone and nothing. I've removed the CPU at the fear I messed up the pins but I went as far as checking them with a magnifying glass to spot any bent or broken ones. Found nothing.

Specs:
Intel i7 5960x extreme
Asus x99a
2x asus gtx 980 matrix platinum
Corsair rm850
Corsair vengeance 4x8gb 2666mhz
Corsair h90 water cooler
Samsung 500gb SSD

Please help I am really clueless, I have built 4 systems for myself in the past and all have been successful. I have no idea at all of what I have done wrong. Any help at all is appreciated, state the obvious please!

In the end I got in touch with my friend and he decided to send the motherboard back for RMA without doing a breadboard build. I'll write with the results once I get a new mobo.

yousuf12 regarding your reply while unistalling the motherboard I did not see any loose screws or cables that were in contact with the motherboard. Like I said at first I had a look at all the pins without touching them and they all looked as they as they should.

The motherboard does not even produce any beeps, I press the button to start the PC and nothing happens. I can see the LED for power is on but nothing else, Memory LED is off and CPU LED is off also.

I won't be able to power on without the GPU in now since I dont have the motherboard anymore but I will try that with the next motherboard.

The power supply has 850 Watts, its a Corsair RM Series RM 850.

And nope the chassis nor the CPU fan spins.

I had a small 3rd party speaker installed on my motherboard to hear the start up beeps. It usually plugs in where the case power and reset switches plug in.
