So i just got my new GTX970 which i thought was the problem at first since everything was so laggy as if it was a VGA card, however my task manager is telling me my CPU usage is 100% when i just launch the League Of Legends client which is ridicilous. I know the LoLClient takes crazy amounts concidering its just a launcher but there is no way it should be 100% Also it spikes from 30 ish to 90 just watching a 720p YouTube video. Really not experienced with processors so im not sure if its defect or whats up but heres my setup atm. Also could it be my Motherboard?
So what happend is my old GPU was defect, everything was working perfectly before that and when i got my GTX970 everything is just really laggy and horrible tbh so i thought it was that at first but with the CPU usage being that high i personally don't know what it could be.
i7 2600K 3.4GHz. 16GB RAM, MSI GTX970 4G, ASUS P8Z77-V, CoolerMaster 650PSU.
EDIT: I've scanned with AVG aswell as Malwarebytes and its clean.
