So I have had this graphics card for a while now and it worked fine for about, 7-8 months. This week it started acting up. Under and load, light of heavy, it stopps responding to my monitor after a short period of time, i.e. 15-45 minutes. My first thought was that it was the fan but it didn't seem to be overheating. It didn't seem hot and the fan kept whirring. It did however reach a higher pitch. I have an r7 250 btw and was thinking of upgrading anyway. I was going to wait but I want to know I if it is worth trying to fix if possible.

You really didn't give enough information. Have you ever or do you currently OC the card? What is your PSU? How old is the card?

It has not been overclocked at all. My PSU is 430 watts and is only a few months old (I bought it new). Here is the card's amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Radeon-Display-PCI-Express-GV-R725XOC-1GD/dp/B00IZ9K44K/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1431660342&sr=8-3&keywords=r7+250+gigabyte
