I just recently bought a cheap gaming rig with low specs in the hopes of slowly upgrading as I get the money, it has a pretty weak GPU and I'm wondering what the best GPU I can use with my motherboard is? Or something which is at least a step up from what I have now. Here are the basic specs.

gigabyte f2a55m-hd2
AMD A10 Quad Core 3.8ghz
AMD 6670 2GB Graphics Card
8GB DDR3 1600 mhz ram
640 GB HDD

EDIT: This may be a silly question but I am new to PC's so I was wondering what sort of fan will fit with my PC and how many? There's one currently but it's fairly old so I'm thinking of replacing, cheers.

The case is an Aerocool Strike-X One, gaming will be my main use for the PC, mainly RPGs like Dragon age/Mass Effect and I only have around £100 to work with at the minute but I was planning to upgrade bit by bit rather than all at once. As for my preference I haven't had enough experience with either to choose but from what I've heard from friends I think I'd rather go with Nvidia.

I don't know what the power supply is, any way I can check without turning the PC off?
