Hi everyone
I just bought a brand new PC with the following specs:
Inter Core i5 4690k
Asus z97 Pro motherboard
2 DDR 8GB Ram
Palit 970
Crucial BX100 250GB 2.5 SSD
Toshiba HDD 1TB
Thermaltake SE smart 730 W
Coller Master Seidon 120m 86.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler.
The problem only occur when I start playing graphics intensive games as such GTA V, CS and even League of legend will trigger power supply surge. The following message I get after the reboot "Power Supply Surges detected during the previous power on.
ASUS Anti-Surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit!" I turned off the Anti Power Supply Surge function but it still auto reboot after finish loading screen from GTA.
I tried every ways i can to solve this problem. Changed wall socket and still the problem triggered. But the moment i bring it to the PC repair store and run a stress test etc but the problem did not occur. I even on GTA V at the shop but it works perfectly. So right now I am kindly confusion what happened to my PC. Will changing the PSU solve this issue or it's my house circuit breaker issue?
