Hey guys, I wish to upgrade my ram. However, I don't know whether my PC is compatible with it.
This is the RAM-http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-ddr3-4-gb-1-x-4gb-pc-ram-cmv4gx3m1a1600c11/p/itmdehfpjm5hgjwy

So, I was wondering how do we find out whether a PC is compatible? Here are my specs-
Motherboard= MSI 2A9Ch http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/msi-2a9ch-specs/
CPU= Intel i5 660@3.33 ghz
GPU= Zotac Geforce Gtx 960

My PC already has two rams of 2gb each.

Solution
You can find compatible ram under Memory Support on your motherboard webpage

Your mobo spec says - 4 * 240-pin DDR3 DIMM slots – Dual Channel DDR3 1333/ 1066MHz non-ECC , un-buffered memory (Max 16GB)

So for dual channel, get a 2 stick kit eg 2 x 4gb kit. Either 1333 or 1066

What I mean is, I don't need to get dual 4gb right? I just wish to upgrade to 8, so since I already have 2X2gb ram sticks, all I need is a single 4gb stick right?

So basically, he is telling me to get 2 4gb sticks of the same package, right?
But if the ram that I already have are both of 1333 Mhz(right now, I dont know whether they do, will have to check when I return home tomorrow), so would I still need to get 2 of those? I mean, even if brands are different, but specs are same, then there shouldnt be any problem, right?

I have CPU-Z on my PC. As far as I know, we should check whether frequency, ddr, speed, voltage is same. Anything else we need to check? Also, does CPU-Z inform you about speed, etc? Or do I need some other software?
