I took the family computer off to college and have been trying to make it usable for the last couple of days. From message boards on reddit, I used combofix, ccleaner and malware bytes anti malware. I ran several scans on my avg antivirus. I got rid of a funmoods toolbar virus I think but my computer continues to use over 80 percent of the 2 ram no matter what programs are running. Can you help please?

I blew out the case with compressed air. How do I find the complete build list? Everytime I run malwarebytes pup.optional.conduit.A comes up. I delete it then run again and it comes up again. I am now running hitman pro after running combofix and malware in safemode. Im a noob by the way.
What Anti Virus are you running?

HWInfo will tell you most of the parts in the build. But you'll have to look at your power supply label to get info on it.
Also try running HWInfo - Sensors. Post the results - usually 3 screenshots in TinyPic or similar. To see how you're PC hardware is running - temps, voltages, clocks, etc.

Im running AVG 2015 for my antivirus. Hitman pro has been running for over 15 minutes now. You want me to download HWinfo? and Screen shot? HItman pro has so far found one threat. PEV.exe That is the same link I was following and why I was running hitman pro. I restarted my comp. and hitman pro now comes up before windows is fully launched. I had to put an email for hitman pro for a 30 day trial. sounds fishy. but my computer is running better. Im gonna run malware again and hit the hay. Memory usage is at 1.35 and lower than it has been since I started. Still seems high right with no programs running?
