Hi,
So let me explain clearly the problem. recently, for my A+ training i decide, to set up an old PC. (Packard Bell: Intel Pentium IV, 512RAM, 80GB Sata Hard Disk. I have install windows xp professional(genuine) on it, and everything were fine. But yesterday morning, when i switch on, it fail to start windows, briefly showing a blue screen and then restart again(multiple loop). I try to install windows again on the PC, but it hang on "searching for recent windows". So i decide to install win 7 on it. I first boot it from CD, then make the installation but it fails to install saying, "Windows cant be installed to drive 0 partition 1" so i delete the partion via command prompt, with the follwing lines, ( data part, list, select disk 0 etc), and its completely clean the disk, then i install back the Win 7, which i been install well. As i want XP on this PC, i install back XP again, the installation was sucessful. i shutdown, the PC a lot of time and boot again from hdd, everythings work fine. BUT last night i shutdown before going bed, and this morning when i wake up, start the PC, its fail again to start windows, showing briefly blue screen(unable to read) cause it restart and restart. Impossible to start on last good config, on safe mode or safe mode networking, its all fails. I have reinstall win XP, again following the above procedure i mentioned above. My question is why after long shutdown and i start the PC its fail to start windows well?
