does "asrock 970 extreme 3 r2.0" support nvidia sli

so as written above im on a quest to determine wether the asrock 970 extreme 3 r2.0 does support dual nvidia gpu's. (want to upgrade to 2xgtx970)
- some says yes, others says no
- i know for a fact that it does support crossfire

it seems not due to NVidia sli requires a minimum of 8x on the slots and this board looks to be 16 and 4 x witch is good for x-fire only so I would say NO on supporting NVidia sli
