I currently have a Asrock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard fitted with an i5 3570k CPU and a Titan X. Now I am trying to overclock my CPU. This is where the problem is. I have had it overclocked to 4.2 for as long as I can remember but now with the recent addition of the Titan X I want to OC to around 4.4 and if I can 4.6 just so the CPU doesn't hold the card back. I have looked at many tutorials for my card and board yet mine seems to be different from others. When I overclock the way they do it becomes very unstable above 4.2 and I don't know why as everyone else it seems, with this CPU and board can OC a lot higher than 4.2. If I don't increase the voltage I can't go above 4.2 however I recently tried increasing the voltage and it seems like I did successfully and was able to boot into windows with a 4.4 OC. However it wasn't stable and shortly after boot my PC crashed and I had to reset it back.

Can someone help me overclock my CPU. I can't see what I am doing wrong. I know every system is different yet I know I SHOULD be able to go higher than 4.2 with my current system. Any help would be appreciated.
