Installed new RAM, PC won't boot up. (3 beeps)

So yesterday I bought a stick of Kingston HyperX Fury 4GB 1600MHz. I already had 4GB A-Data ram and I wanted to make them 8, so I plugged the new one in. PC started booting up and then it stopped or smth, I'm not even sure (I think the HyperX wasn't fully fitted in). Anyway, I tried only using the old one and everything went fine. The third time I decided to switch the slots and my PC did boot up, this time with the smell of something burning. Immediately turned everything off. After this the PC simply refuses to boot. No matter what memory I use, no matter in what slot. I've reset my bios via the jumpers about a hundred times. I checked both rams for burn marks, there was nothing except for a broken pin on the HyperX which will hopefully get changed. I've tried removing the heatsink and taking the CPU out for a close inspection, absolutely no scorch marks, just some really old thermal paste.

When I turn the PC on with the old RAM I get three beeps (ASRock FM2A75-DGS mobo, the site indicates that three beeps means missing memory.), and (I think) some slight burning smell (feels like it's being blown by the CPU cooler.) What are the chances that it's a motherboard/CPU problem, I am getting beeps after all. I don't have any other motherboards that support ddr3 ram, else I'd test it. If I put the CMOS jumper on the 2nd/3rd pins, the PC starts booting up(although it's super quiet), but there's no video, my monitors have no signal. I've tried several GPUs, including the integrated one and it's always the same thing.

Hi,

If the memory isn't the same specs, that what you get.

You need to be sure that the memory are 1600, but also same voltage and CAS.

What model are the memory you have ?

You can also try to load default BIOS settings.
Sometime Bios can get picky when installing new ram

The different memory brands don't explain why my old memory does not get detected.

The AData is AD3U1600W4G11-B
The Kingston is HX316C10FB/4

How do I reset the bios to default settings without booting it up? I've used the jumper already, is removing the battery going to do anything different?
