I have cables in place for security cameras that have RJ-45 ends with 6 pins, however I cant find a system that mates up. I am guessing my cables are RJ-11 is this correct, if so how can I use them for Cat5 or BNC systems, They are in the walls and I cant switch them out

Ethernet over Cat5 requires 8 position connectors.

The RJ designation only describes the plug/jack, not the cable itself. You'll need to inspect the cable to find if it's suitable for Ethernet, and also ensure the cables terminate at a central location for a network switch or DVR.
