I have an ASRock Z97 Extreme4 motherboard and it has the Purity 2 sound system, which I heard is pretty good. It also has a dedicated headphone amp. The problem is that amp only works off the front panel and not the ports on the motherboard itself. That creates a 2nd problem in that by the time the wire goes from the motherboard to the front panel, it has picked up some EMI and the sound isn't as good. I have looked for sheilded cable for the front panel, can't find any. So is there a way to route the panel output out the back of the system, to either an extermal device or even just an external rear jack so it doesn't pick up as much EMI?
