help with file compression

i'm trying to store game installation files and i cant seem to find any programs that will compress them any kind of amount that is more than a few megabytes, 20 at most. if any of u know ways to achieve reasonable data compression so that i can store these files it would help me a lot so i don't have to buy more hard drives

I don't think it's possible. If they could compress files further for install, they would.

Not sure what you want, but extreme compression it not really practical. No matter the method, you can only compress so much before data loss starts to occur. There's not going to be some miracle program that will compress everything down to floppy size.

Install files are already about as compressed as they can get.
