Hello everyone, sorry if I'm posting something somewhere I am not supposed to, I am new here.
I just finished building my first pc after multiple RMA's. However with everything now working and booting up just fine I do not get signal on my TV.

The specs are as follows:
CPU: AMD FX 8320
MOTHERBOARD: Asus M5A78L-M USB 3.0
GPU: Powercolor r9 270x Devil
PSU: EVGA Supernova 850W B2 Bronze Power Supply
CASE: Bitfenix Neos

All the parts were compatiable when I purchased them on pcpartpicker. However upon searching I discovered in some cases the bios needs to be updated to version 1401 before it can be used with the CPU. To summarize, I am wondering if doing that will allow a display signal to my tv, and if so how can I go about doing it? Also why is the video card hdmi also giving no signal with hdmi? Thank you for your time.

I do not have a monitor to test on. My previous computer gave display with hdmi without issues at 1920x1080. I will try going to a computer shop today to see if they will let me test a monitor display. In the event that it does not work what might the issue be?

I'm a little new to this. The motherboard has a green light on despite having the power off. I plugged the hdmi in the motherboard, turned power on and hit f2, and no signal. Tried the hdmi from the video card, and still nothing.

So with a monitor it gives no signal with hdmi nor vga. The shop guy was useless and did not offer any solution or tip as to what the problem is. I don't understand why it gives no signal.
