Hello everyone, Hope you're all doing well. I just have a quick question on whethor or not I should upgrade my Graphics card or my CPU and Motherboard? I'm looking to upgrade to be able to play all the newest games on maxed out settings on 1080p.

Current setup-

CPU-AMD Athlong II x4 620 processor (4 cpus) @2.6ghz
GPU- AMD Radeon XFX r7850 2gb 256-bit ddr5
Motherboard- Foxconn A88GA-6 (AM3)
Ram- 18gb

Should I upgrade my GPU to a MSI - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card?

or Upgrade my CPU and Motherboard first to an AMD FX 8350 Black edition and an ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 7 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS?

Thank you for helping out a noobie, It is much appreciated!

should be perfect. if you go for it, you wont see a HUGE performance difference (like 10 frames), but it will give you room to upgrade to a better GPU in the future (the r9 390 non X looks to be a great value at a rumored 400 bucks MSRP)
