Recently built my first rig, using i5 4460 3.2ghz and its intergrated graphics while i wait for my new gpu, but just check temp after browsing web, and its 91 degrees celcius, im scared to turn on my pc now cos it might catch alight, is there any possibility this is wrong or there is a way to fix it, i am using a stock cooler with pre-applied thermal paste, should i replace the paste or cooler?

Solution
cheapest option is to re-apply the paste and see if that helps, if it doesn't then go with a better cooler, a good cooler that isn't too expensive is the cooler master hyper 212 evo

Thanks, ill try that! If neither work could it be a faulty cpu (i hope not, already had to deal with faulty gpu... Yes i did protect items from esd damage)

1) check if your stock cpu heatsink fan is working (sometimes people forget to plug it in, it happens)
2) is there sufficient air flow in your case? you shouldn't need much at stock speeds but if your internal components are not well ventilated, overheating will occur
3) check if your heatsink fan is properly mounted
4) reapply thermal paste

If none of this works, I doubt a new cooler will help much since you're hitting 91 degrees on such a low load.
