I'm trying to build my first pc for 3d animation and rendering. Since i'm new in this I could really use some help. Here's what i've looked so far but i'm not sure if it's okay
-Thermaltake V3 Black Edition VL80001W2Z Black SECC / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
-thermaltake smart 650w sp-650p
-Core i7 4790 3.6ghz lga 1150 8mb cache 22nm bx8064I74790
-2 DDR3 CORSAIR 8GB 1600MHZ
-1TB SATA3 6GBPS 32MB CACHE
-GRAPHICS CARD EVGA GTX 980 SC 4GB DDR5

Solution
Ok, let's start with the budget and what country you're from? You for sure don't want that V3 case. I'm not going to go into it in depth, as it's been covered many times before, but it's an extremely poor case choice. There are better cases to be had by far, even without going nuts on the budget. If you bought that case you would hate everything about it from the minute you took it out of the box until the day you smashed it with a sledge hammer in your backyard. It's that bad, really.

Next, you don't want the Smart series PSU. They're very bad. Tier 4, as seen here:

Especially for a high end unit like that build, you want something that's Tier 1 or 2, of 550w-750w...

Especially for a high end unit like that build, you want something that's Tier 1 or 2, of 550w-750w for that GPU.

It would also be extremely helpful to know what resolution and on how many monitors you plan to be working with?
