Getting a ton of blue screens while watching videos or gaming.

Hi all,
Normally i can resolve my pc issues myself but i have come to the end of my ideas and need some assistance with this.

I am getting 2 or 3 BSOD every day randomly while either watching videos or gaming and it looks like this points to a graphics card problem.

I run bluescreenview and there is 1 exe flagging up along with another one which flagged up once but its mostly the exe.

ntoskrnl.exe is the one that flags up on every blue screen without fail.
Then the other random one i got a couple of times was the atikmdag.sys which i know is to do with the AMD R7 265 graphics card i have installed on the system.

I have gone over a couple things to try and resolve the problem but with no luck.

I have run memtest for 9 hours with no errors.
I have reinstalled/upgraded drivers for the graphics card.

I overclocked the graphics card with MSI afterburner and im not sure if i have completely screwed the card up even though i stayed within recommended voltage and clock speeds.

The thing is i had this graphics card in my old system (also overclocked) and it run fine.. HELP!

This is a new system i have built with and everything was brand new.

bugs in streamed data can be cause by the USB device or the network driver and you network driver is very old.
Good odds that update of network driver is all you really need.

Second bugcheck is in USB code running streamed data
I think it is most likely going to be related to you USB audio driver you have installed. Fix the other problems, see if you can get a driver update for your usb audio device and reboot your system, go into BIOS and reset it to defaults and boot windows.

if you still get a bugcheck then you have to change the memory dump type to a kernel memory dump, then run cmd.exe as an admin then run
verifier.exe /standard /all
and reboot again.

I think with firefox you can disable gpu acceleration for flash, if it's currently enabled see if disabling it makes any difference. Also try underclock your card and put the fan to full (either for a day or until you blue screen), I found that my fan kicking in at 70c instead of 80c pretty much stopped all blue screens from happening when having 2 things loaded at once (eg. maya + borderless windowed game).

Can't offer any information you won't already know aha, but if games run totally fine, it's probably something you can fix to get the videos working :)

Oops, didn't read the gaming part haha. You have tried reinstalling the drivers too right?

You could give MSI Kombustor a shot, it has a GPU clock and GPU memory burn in test, so if it only crashes on one of them and not the other, at least you'll have a better idea of what's wrong :)

Also, it could potentially be software. Last year I was getting constant blue screens for months and didn't know why, and they stopped as soon as I uninstalled razer game booster. No idea why it was crashing stuff, but it was

I literally just installed windows and they started, like i dont even have anything on there apart from a couple of games and all the drivers

if you still get a bugcheck then you have to change the memory dump type to a kernel memory dump, then run cmd.exe as an admin then run

this will make windows do extra error checking on the drivers, and force a bugcheck if it find a error. even if it does not find a error the kernel memory dump will save debug info and error logs into the memory dump to enable the cause of USB problems to be figured out.
note your memory dump will be at c:\windows\memory.dmp (rather than in the minidump folder)
It will be a much bigger file. here is a link to show how to change the memory dump type:

-------
overall I would expect this first bugcheck to be caused by a bug in the sata driver or maybe a storage driver it could also be caused by the ethernet driver in certain cases.

first bugcheck was in the file system,
I would go to here:http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M5A99X_EVO_R20/HelpDesk_Download/
and install the current amd chipset drivers and sata drivers for your motherboard. (they are kind of old but give them a try)

I would also remove your overclocking software until you figure out the problems:
C:\Program Files\AMD\ATI.ACE\Fuel\amd64\AODDriver2.sys Tue Feb 11 03:06:52 2014

you also have a usb driver that I don't see very often, usb drivers tend to corrupt memory if there are BIOS bugs, chipset bugs for the CPU, or usb 3.0 chipset bugs as well as any bug in the actual USB device (or any usb device driver for any device you might have plugged in to your machine (even if removed) you will want to go to the above link and update any usb drivers and chipset drivers and reboot.

you ethernet driver is out of date:
Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC
here is a current link for a update:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

\SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\Rt64win7.sys Wed Dec 26 09:17:50 2012

note: problem with client Opportunistic Locks

Thank you for your reply.
I am going to update my drivers, I had no idea they were out of date.
I installed them straight from the motherboard disk so i probably should have just used my common sense there really, lol.

UPDATE: I have changed system to generate full memory dump so next time i get a bsod i will upload the file.
