Gaming PC Overview

The only issue I see is the PSU, the original Evga NEX units weren't very good, especially when compared with the newer g2 and gs series. If you are using a single 970 a good 550w psu is plenty

If you are thinking of adding a 2nd 970 later then you want 750w

I would change PSU like bignastyid suggested, and for the same price as the one you select you can get an XFX 7502 gold. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/XFX-PRO-750-W-Power-Supply-Review/1182/10

I would also change the motherboard to one with usb3.1 support, and the monitor to one from asus (they have very good and reliable).

If you dont want to overclock now or in the future, you might also consider buying an E3-1231 that will give you 4 more virtual cores than the i5, so it will have better performance at multitasking, and probably be more future proof.
