Title pretty much says it all, I am in need of a cheap 500w PSU capable of gaming and that is reliable. I'm not looking for the best of the best but I'm looking for something decent that won't die and take out my rig components with it. Looking to spend under 45 bucks if possible.

Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 Black Edition
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 ACX 2.0
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 8 GB (2x4GB)
Motherboard: ASRock 960GM/U3S3 FX

Solution
I'd probably go with the RG myself for the extra headroom, but either will run your rig. My i5-4690K rig with a GTX970 in it is pulling 99W from its UPS right now. I'm not gaming, but even if it went up a full 200W (unlikely), that's still only 300W.
Your CPU uses more juice than mine; add another 50W and you're still good.

@Onus Will it run it reliably on high-end games? Cuz ive seen many people having problems with their PCs shutting off on GTA V and such with 970s due to PSU. I'm also seeing some people say that PSU dies after a short short time.
