Hello I am now willling to upgrade my GT630 to a GTX 750. My question is about the PSU whether it is cool with the GTX 750?? And another question is about the compatibility with my processor bottlenecking and all... :)

my specs

Intel Core i5-3450
8 GB DDR3 1333Mhz
NVIDIA GT630 2GB DDR3
400 watts PSU

Solution
Check if you have a X6 pin connector, then you can run a decent GTX750, I would recommend a 450W psu, I have a TT 600W with my Strix GTX750ti
Power requirements for all nVidia GPUs are here:

(300 watts) http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-750/specifications

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/nvidia_geforce_gtx_750_and_750_ti_review,5.html

Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

GeForce GTX 750 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 450 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 750 Ti - On your average system the card requires you to have a 450 Watt power supply unit.

If you are going to overclock GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with a bit more stamina.

20 amps(240 watts @ 12 volts) on a 400 watt power supply is rather low(my 300 watt has 22 or 264 watts @ 12 volts). It is either an older design or poorly made.

The 750 is a VERY power friendly card. In fact, I think it take LESS than a 630, but numbers on paper do not always line up and a newer revision cut the cards power quite a bit..

Please ensure it is not a multi rail unit as those have a combined rating.

Example of a multirail setup. Some show combined watts some show combined amps.

watts / volts = watts
amps x volts = watts

It is easy to go back and forth.

You can not always add the rail on a power supply, for that reason alone they have a combined rating.

Is this your unit? I did the math for you :)

clfz, That is some good overkill for a 750ti, but you will NEVER stress it. I have the GTX 650ti on the power supply in my first image(still never saw over 180 at the wall[ if i trust APC ] with prime 95+ video stress) :)
