I can get this new for very cheap considering it's 850w modular bronze, is this gonna burn my house down?

The one on official site looks a bit different.

That manufacturer uses Andyson, CWT, and Great Wall as it's OEMs in that range. I don't know what model is in that case. An Andyson K 850 is more like Silver on 110V, but Gold on 240V.

Not horrible, but I don't know how good. The problem is that some manufacturers overstate what is in the case, in which case it might indeed be horrible.

How much and what are your other choices?

It's better but still not very good. With evga get a b2, g2, or gs (thier p series is good but probably more than you want to spend). Other brands to look for are Seasonic, Superflower, Antec and XFX. For what you are planning a good 550w is plenty. If you are in the US Newegg has the 550w Capstone for $40 after a rebate.
