I have recently decided to look into building a PC that will handle GTA 5 and BF4 on max (or as close to max) settings that is in the 800-1000$ range. I prefer to build my own PC an when looking for a build I found this one: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1693070/building-gaming-battlefield-800-1000-budget.html
I want the same abilities as the one in the link that is the 800-1000$ range. Should i follow this build or does anyone have Any suggestions?

Includes WiFi, Bluetooth and good SSD for OS and some applications. Will boot from power-on in 10 seconds. Memory will be underclocked to improve latency to CL7 (I hope)

I use an external DVD. Internal will cost another $15.

Essentially every part is better than the one in the two year old build.

Solution
Whatever you do, don't follow that build from two years ago. Nothing wrong with it then ,and nothing wrong with the parts today, but the price/performance has moved on since then. In particular there are better/cheaper GPU options. That GPU is similar to an R9 280X, which costs from just over $200 today.
