Hi everyone!

I really hope you can help me because I'm pulling my hair out! (NOT LITERALLY)

I've been building a gaming PC and everything was going smoothly until I installed
my GPU water cooling system..

I had a local electrical repair man remove the stock cooler and install the waterblock (FC Titan), so I set everything up correctly, installed the card and tried to boot the system but it kept going to windowed mode and crashing when trying to boot... finally i had to reinstall windows but since id just installed win8.1 I wasn't bothered. It started up but in windowed mode and crash
I took the card apart to see what the issue could be and found the electrical guy hadn't covered them all properly, covering some that didnt need to be covered and because of this the heat sink wasn't even making contact but i seemingly sorted and there was contact but my problem remains?

this watercooling system

http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/Magicool-DIY-Water-Cooling-Set-Single-120-mm-Edition_50412.html

with this block or very similar

http://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fc-titan.html

without installing the drivers i cant see if its overheating.. the pump and everything is working
great.

I did install another card without water cooling but with pump on to see if it was a power issue but it worked fine.

any ideas?

sorry for any bad grammar lol

I put the stock cooler fan on while I waited for the water cooling system just to make sure it worked etc plus I was dying to use it lol

Same guy, he fixes pc's etc (Not an idiot just hadn't had experience with graphics cards)

I got it with the block on and i had it removed and the cooler fitted to test and put back on once the cooler system was in place.

I just don't understand what I could change as I have redone the block 3 times and the result in always the same

not sure

i assume you saw the card work ok on water before you got it?

but you know the card works fine when the air cooler was on it

you know the pump is working and coolant circulating

you know your psu is up to it

its a clean install of windows

that only leaves the mounting of the block

unless some one else can think of something i am missing

Why not go back to the air cooler just to be sure that it's still working properly with that? If it is then you'll know it's an issue with the way you are setting up the watercooling system, if not then you'll know that either you have damaged the Titan or something else has gone awry.

unfortunately without being there while you are doing it no way to tell

are you following the ek video for installation?
