I'm planning to do a two monitor configuration, one for gaming and one for movies and whatnot. I need some suggestions on an IPS monitor, since I already have the Benq RL2455HM as my gaming monitor.
I can not recommend any IPS monitor in that price range. The cost of IPS panels is such that investing in one in that price range is, in my opinion, not worth it.
Below $200, you are basically getting the "Shenzen special" - a display made from surplus panels, possibly panels that did not make the grade for higher end displays. The quality is often grossly inconsistent since the manufacturer cannot afford as many rejects.
I posted that asus with the vh248h-p. I think they are about as good as you will get for the price. But as the others have said - they'd shy away from anything under $200. These are borderline.
The 23in has had good write ups. I haven't seen anything on the 25in yet. I thinks its too new. The specs of all of them are the same.
An inch out one way or the other wouldn't matter. Go with the cheapest if you want. Again though - cheaper may mean not as good quality screen though. You wouldn't really know though till you had seen them yourself. Look for reviews.

Not sure. There have been some bad reviews on newegg.ca. I'm kind of doubting myself.
