Is this enough to max out every game

I was wondering if these specs for the computer I'm going to build over the summer is enough to stream and run every game on ultra.

Specs
I7-4790k 4.0 Ghz
Msi Gaming 7 mobo
Msi 970 4gb
16gb of ram

I like the system.

But since you are saying you want to build this over the summer, hold off and see what these new 300 series AMD GPUs that will be released next month do. I think they are going to rock the industry due to the new memory tech they will be using. By the end of June, we should know how those cards perform, and then you can make the best decision.

Like MarkW says, I'd wait until your ready to build, because the AMD 300 series GPU's should be out and benchmarked by the end of June or so. So if you can wait until your ready to buy, you might score a better deal on the GTX 980 or possibly the better AMD 300 series GPU.

If I were buying today (not knowing your budget), it would look something like this below:

* CPU is an i7 w/NO iGPU, but with the HT!
* CPU HSF is good for keeping things cooler and quieter than the stock option.
* Mobo is a bit overkill for a non-OC'ing CPU, but is affordable and has all of the options most people want/need.
* RAM is plenty for this build and the heat spreaders are LOW profile, so you will have clearance for aftermarket CPU HSF's.
* SSD is plenty fast and is affordable, plus the added 1 TB HDD will compliment your initial storage needs.
* GPU is one of the better ones out there for the $.
* Case has plenty of room and can house lots of upgrades down the road.
* PSU is plenty for this build and is 80 PLUS Gold Certified!

remove the cooling, smaller SSD (128GB unless bigger is asked) get a h97 series motherboard as the asrock one is only good for overclocking

* Only added cooling to keep things cooler and quieter, but it can be removed if the budget room is needed (still don't know the budget for the build).
* SSD size is perfect at the moment. I have a computer with a 120 gb SSD in it and after updates and a few apps I'm already at about 40-50 gb's of space. I prefer to have at least a 240-256 gb SSD, so I can put a few games/apps on it to get the benefit of the faster read/write speeds, just my opinion though. Also there is only about $20-30 price difference, usually, between a 128 gb SSD and a 256 gb SSD. Which in my opinion is well worth the difference.
* The H97 AsRock Mobo is about $6-7 cheaper than the Z97, so it would make more sense to have the z97 for $6-7 more, IMHO.
