AMD FX-8350 or Intel Core i5-4590 for 3d modeling, sculpting and rendering?

I am building custom PC for 3d modeling, sculpting and rendering. I will also be using After Effects, Houdini and I don't want to play games at all. And I have to say I'm really confused. I'm not a computer genius. But the main problem is there is a lot of things about gaming than 3d modeling, sculpting and rendering. So I can't finding any best answer. Because some saying AMD FX 8350 is not good for gaming but its good for 3d modeling, sculpting and rendering because of it's 8 core on the other hand some saying AMD FX-8350 is out dated and its single cores are much slower than Intel Core i5-4590 and it have more update option.

Guys please help me, I'm taking $400 (30000tk) [$200 for processor and $200 for Motherboard, 8 GB Ram, power supply] loans for buying whole parts. So I have to use it at least 3 more years.
And if its possible please suggest best option available for Motherboard, 8GB RAM and power supply with in $200. (for AMD or INTEL)

CPU - Your "entry level" solution is with the FX 8320 / 8350 without overclocking (stock speed). This is less than desired as the AMD CPU is fairly weak on IPC (instructions per cycle - aka how much it can do in any given time). The much better option for an AMD build is to overclock the FX 8320 / 8350 to a 4.5GHz or higher. This brings processing up drastically... at a cost of needing the aftermarket CPU cooler and a 970 chipset motherboard. The better options are with Intel with an H97 motherboard and either the i5-4460 or i5-4590, as it would need no overclocking or aftermarket CPU cooler to give similar / better performance to the overclocked AMD build.
MEM - Be sure to check latency specs, but either DDR3-1600 CL9 or lower...

MEM - Be sure to check latency specs, but either DDR3-1600 CL9 or lower, or DDR3-1866 CL10 or lower. Both at 1.5v. Crucial, GSKill, Kingston, or Mushkin would be the ones to look toward first. Corsair are fine, but are typically expensive.
PSU - XFX or Seasonic, then if needed look toward Antec or EVGA (G2 or Supernova). You get what you pay for in this space so don't get lured in by the inexpensive Corsair units (and others) with poor capacitors.

Thank you sir. :) I have two more question, which one is more future proof or up-gradable and, how slow (how percent slow) will these be compared with AMD FX 8350 & Intel Core i7-4790K (stock and overclocking).

The Intel build would give you a better upgrade path (to an i7 or Xeon processor if they become available to you). The AMD build would be maxed out once it is overclocked (from a CPU perspective).


Overclocking the 8350 can easily take it from 4.0GHz to 4.7 - 4.8Ghz so that would be roughly a 20% increase. Processing is dynamic so that doesn't always work out that way...
