Hello

I have 2 SSD drives in RAID 0 (Samsung 840 PRO) as my main C drive.
Please don't go about how RAID 0 is doubble fail rate and how I'm stupid and will loose all my files - I know, and I take my precautions with this

I'm aware that RAID 0 does not practically mean x2 preformance boost, but I can't think it would mean slower either? When I boot up, this easily takes 20-30 seconds (Using Windows 7 Ultimate, FYI), which I feel is muuch longer than it should be with SSDs.

Does anyone know why this may be?

My motherboard is a ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0

From spec sheet:
Connector: 5 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connectors, support RAID (RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5 and RAID 10), NCQ, AHCI and Hot Plug functions

and both SSDs are 256GB Samsung 840 PRO
