Hello sir! I have a big question (for me) but i know its just a lil problem to you, but i just want to know whats the exact timing for my memory. here's what i do.

1. go into bios, set target dram speed to 1600mhz auto timings (11-13-13-35 1T)
2. go into bios, set target dram speed to 1600mhz manual timings 10-10-10-27 1T

what is the right timing for this ram? I read in the pdf file it says, "This module has been tested to run at DDR3-1600 at a low latency timing of 10-10-10 at 1.5V"

I just want to know the right timing for:
cas# latency(CL):
ras# to cas# delay(tRCD):
ras# precharge(tRP):
cycle time(tRAS):
command rate(CR):

A big thanks for those who can help me. thanks!

here's my motherboard anyway, Asus H81M-C

thanks. but my ram isnt fury, it hyperx blu - i know fury will auto oc , but mine isnt, manual oc i think, heres my current timing for now. let me know if its correct. thanks!

cas# latency(CL): 10
ras# to cas# delay(tRCD): 10
ras# precharge(tRP): 10
cycle time(tRAS): 27
command rate(CR): 1T

According to the CPU-Z screenshots, it seems that the system memory is rated at 1333 MHz, and is being overclocked to 1600 MHz.

Unfortunately, CPU-Z SPD tab is limited to showing only four memory speed entries, it doesn't show other SPD memory speed entries, including any entry for running at 1600 MHz (800 MHz). One way to view other SPD entries is to save CPU-Z data in text format and view that text file for additional SPD details.

Perhaps a better way is to use HWiNFO64. This utility displays all memory SPD entries.

Start/run HWiNFO64.

Select "Summary only" check box"

And then Run.

All available memory SPD entries are displayed on the right side. Here timings and voltages can be confirmed for running at 1600 MHz (800 MHz).

yes, its rated at 1333mhz , but according to kingston it is tested at 1600mhz, also the stickers on memory and box itself has 1600mhz. gotta download HWiNFO64. i will post the result as what you said sir.

Thank you for the screenshots!

According to the screenshot of HWiNFO64, there is no SPD entry for 1600 MHz (800 MHz). And it also states (like CPU-Z does also) that the memory is rated at 1333 MHz. This suggests running the memory at 1600 MHz is overclocking the memory.

Anyway, if the specifications for this memory at Kingston website and/or on the module itself state that the module has been tested up to 1600 MHz with corresponding timings (and voltage), then provided the timings and voltage are set in BIOS according to the stated specifications, then the memory module should work OK.

Thanks for the basic info sir. so my memory now is running overclock at 1600mhz 10-10-10-27 timings correctly? should I set it to 9-9-9-24? or much better if I will set it to default for stability 1333mhz 9-9-9-24 ?

EDIT: LOL I really laugh when I reset my memory speed to stock 1333mhz 9-9-9-24 , when I play GTA 5 to test , here's what I've got

1600mhz 10-10-10-27 : 45-50 fps
1333mhz 9-9-9-24 : 60-65 fps

OHHH , nevermind overclocking memory. Ill stick to stock tho! :bounce:

Timings (and voltage) for the memory should be set to those values shown in SPD data, or values listed in specifications. However, could try other timings and voltages as well in an attempt to improve performance, but there is no guarantee of memory and system stability after making these other changes.

If performance seems to be better at 1333 MHz, then use that instead of 1600 MHz.
