Good day to all you tech experts,

Got some inquiry for you

Problem is, I can't accomodate an air cooler due to constricted space in my Bitfenix Prodigy M so my only resort is an AIO Liquid cooler. Currently I am using a DeepCool Gamerstorm Gabriel which helped my temps go down about 5-10 degrees from the intel stock cooler. When gaming, it runs quite hot at about 60-70 degrees, not that I didn't install the heatsink right but it's just because the temperature here in the Philippines is about 30-35 degrees during the summer and about 26-30 degrees during rainy season.

and not to mention, it is very very very VERY dusty in my place

So my question now is, which should I get? the Corsair H80i GT or the H100i?

price for H80i GT here is 4670 PhP ~ 105 USD
while for the H100i 4950 PhP ~ 111 USD

or if not any of both, can you recommend some other AIO LCS which is on par with price with the ones above

-thanks in advance!

I'm using an Intel Core i5 4690 btw

however the H80i GT has a 49mm thick radiator, wouldn't that fact make the H80i GT a better performer?

yeah I looked at that and yeah i discovered it would be great considering that it's just a bit more expensive than the h100i, but the problem is that it's hard to find an H105 in the Philippines(it's quite rare actually) unless I buy from newegg which would cost me more due to shipping fees and in addition to that, it would be more problematic if I'd receive a defective unit which would then again cost me more because of the shipping fee to bring it back to Corsair

thanks for the advice though I really appreciate it

apparently, I made a recalculation and turns out that for the h100i, 891K(120mm x 275mm x 27mm) while for the H80i GT ~928K(154mm x 123mm x 49mm)

also, Corsair claims that the H80i GT pump was improved(well, it looks like it's made by Asetek)

I can't seem to find the density of the radiators though

The H100i is a bit better performer at max settings. That is also with just two fans. Add in two more for a push/pull configuration and it will be even better.

Quite a few of the Hydro series has been made by Asetek:

which one should I choose then?

is that little 3-4 degrees worth the extra 6 USD?

yeah the H100i would perform a bit better with push-pull setup, but would also make it harder to clean

but then again, the H80i GT is on push-pull setup so....., yeah I still can't decide
