After I installed everything I tried to start up my computer and all I got was " recovery your PC needs to be repaired error code 0xc0000001

How will I run memtest if my PC won't let me on?

You don't need to boot into to windows to run memtest you'll use either a bootable disc or usb drive to enter memtest. DId you remove the old ram when you upgraded or are you mixing it? Also before you installed the new gpu did you uninstall the drivers for the old card?
