If you have open slots, there's no reason to replace what you have now.

This is a good price from a reliable brand.

Alternatively if you are willing to pay slightly more, this is a good price on some very solid memory. I have one of their 8GB sticks in my rig, and am very pleased with it.

Of course, there are countless other options to choose from to fit your taste in looks, and as long as it is a quality brand, they should all perform very similarly (but I'd suggest getting 1600MHz with cas latency 9 to match the sticks you already have). In any case, I would definitely recommend making use of the RAM you already have and simply adding two more sticks to the slots you have free. It will save you money, with absolutely no...

I disagree, I regularly use more than 8GB while gaming if I leave a few other things open in the background while I play (I tend to play games during breaks from homework, and don't want to close everything and then re-open it for my break).

What is your current RAM setup? Do you have any open slots? Can you just add RAM to slots you already have open, or are you hoping to replace what you have now and add more?

In a general sense, I would recommend PNY XLR8 at 1600MHz. It is pretty decent, and pretty cheap.
