Hey everyone!
My problem is that I've just got a new piece of DDR3 RAM, 4GB (Corsair 1600mhz)
I want to double the power of my computer. I already have a set of dual channel Kingstons (1600mhz 4GB) in my pc. I've changed up the config, so it would run single channel with all three RAM sticks.
All I could achieve is 6 gigs, with one piece of the new Corsair RAM, and one piece of the two-piece Dual Channel Kingston RAMs. If I add the Dual's pair, my computer will just keep restarting over and over again. Resetting the BIOS won't help.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte ga-p67a-d3-b3.
What should I do to be able to have 8GBs? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
