Hey all, I moved my pc into new case the other day, my problem is the case (Corsair Spec-01) has a front USB 3.0, but my mobo only has 2.0 headers. So I bought a adapter for the 3.0 plug to convert it into a 2.0 plug and it does not work in windows. Any help appreciated!

(edit) My motherboard is a Intel DP67BG, case- Corsair Carbide Spec-01,and Im running Windows 7 64-bit. I have tried plugging in USB 3 devices and 2.0 devices neither work. The other two 3.0 ports on my mobo work fine.

Does it not detect devices at all? Or does it still run in USB 2 mode? Specifically define "Not working."

The front panel USB headers may not be functioning. Make sure all of the front panel cables are plugged into the motherboard.
