AMD FX-8350 Core temperatures reading funny

I recently bought an AMD FX-8350 and on occasion after closing some of my games I'll look at the temps on core temp and max is around 35 degrees c but speedfan reports my max temp was 102 degrees, also a few days ago I closed a game and core temp was acting funny saying that Core 4 was running at 101 degrees but the rest weren't, I'm hoping this is just a defect in whatever reads the temps, I also have a CM hyper evo 212 as my heatsink

I also want to know if core temps 41-45 degrees sounds right for running things like GTA 5. I only had an AMD R7 260x atm

41-45 is mild. Nothing to worry about, but just keep an eye out as time progresses.

I played GTA the other day over 8 hours straight and it topped off at 42
